What is Fearless Ministry?

On December 12, 2010, Detective Jamie Royal of the Colorado Springs,

Colorado Police Department experienced minor vision problems.

Within five days, he:

was diagnosed with a brain tumor
admitted to the hospital
underwent surgery to remove the malignant growth

Three days post surgery, Detective Royal’s oncologist told him, "You have 3-4 months to live."

Hope and peace immediately surrounded the officer.
The following day, the detective's pastor shared the Bible verse Philippians 1:12:

“Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel.”

Eight days after surgery, Royal spoke to his church family.

Boldly, Royal proclaimed how he fearlessly faced his "death sentence."

He lived another seven weeks.
During that time, he spoke publicly to ten groups.
Royal called the speaking opportunities “Fearless Ministry.”
He proclaimed his diagnosis and Hope whenever possible.

The Impact

A coworker accepted Jesus Christ in Jamie’s hospital room.
Many coworkers at CSPD shared what God was doing in their lives as a result of the change they saw in him.
Shortly after his funeral, one of Jamie’s close relatives accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!

2016 Fearless Ministry was invited to partner with Shield616!
2017 After receiving one of the gift Bibles, an 89 year old Korean war veteran asks, “How can I know if I’m going to heaven or hell?” The Bible-giver shared God’s plan of salvation.

The gentleman prayed and asked Jesus to forgive his sin and come into his life!

2018 jamieroyalfearlessministry.com established

2019 Fearless Ministry temporarily partnered with Shield616. That organization presented Bibles in shield packages at the Cotton Bowl

in Texas!

2021 God continued answering prayers through new direction!

Denise, began that year asking God to show her where to donate the remaining “In Memory of Jamie Royal” Bibles.

God connected her with a Sheriff Department chaplain. He was overjoyed knowing just where they were needed.

God faithfully opened more doors by placing officers, firemen, and a deaf woman in her path, all were thrilled with the bookmarks!

2022 We continue to claim Ephesians 3:20-21(NKJV) “Now to Him Who is able to do abundantly more than all we ask or imagine.” God is truly fulfilling his promise!

God combined Fearless Ministry with Denise's recently published book:

More Than Just Surviving!

2023 - Denise asked,

"God, is Fearless Ministry still relevant?"

Less than two months later He arranged events so her daughter had to be visited by a home health nurse in Denise’s home. The company called nurses to see who could accomplish her needs. The only nurse able was their third try. As the professional was packing up her papers, Denise spoke, “I try to give a bookmark to everyone who comes to my house. Please accept this as a ‘thank you.’ The officer pictured was my late husband.”

“I’m sorry for your loss. Can I ask how he died?”

“Yes. He had a glioblastoma brain cancer.”

The nurse froze and inhaled deeply. “I have to sit down. I am SUPPOSED to be here! My son was just diagnosed with the same cancer!”

The two women hugged and prayed.

Yes, Fearless Ministry IS still relevant!

God’s supernatural peace, wisdom, and love carried Denise as she faced yet another mountain.

In September, He brought permanent healing to Denise’s daughter when He called her to her eternal home - Heaven.

Many were amazed that she was able to speak at her only daughter’s celebration of life service.

Her thoughts are, “How can I NOT speak of God’s goodness and faithfulness!”
